We're based in Carpinteria and serve the Santa Barbara area. The phone company used to send a technician. Now your phone system lives in the cloud, but someone still has to plan it, wire it and answer when it acts up. That's us.
Our story
Why we started
We’ve been on the other side of the phone.
We spent thousands on phone systems that were supposed to make life easier. Instead we got complicated hardware, battles with the big carriers over aging copper lines, support calls that went in circles, and service appointments weeks out.
So we turned to VoIP, and called the specialists. Every one of them had the same pitch:
“Rip out everything you have. It’s no good. Put in my system and it’ll be perfect. Questions about features? Whether it’ll work? How long it’ll take? Happy to answer them… right after you sign off on a price you don’t fully understand.”
We hung up.
Instead, we set out to build exactly what we wanted, without anyone gatekeeping our settings or making us pay to make changes to our own phones. That’s when we found Zoom Phone, and we never looked back.
Everything we’d been told was impossible, we did. Every setting we’d been locked out of, we changed ourselves. We got the full power of VoIP without the programming expertise SIP systems used to demand.
